Your journey begins here:

You will enter your very own Windmill Tower through the roof garden using your personal keypad entry code. As you step inside, you are greeted by a sturdy oak door and find yourself surrounded by history and charm, transporting you back in time.

 

Sleeping:

Two delightful bedrooms await, each featuring comfortable double beds and luxurious en-suite bathrooms. Ambient lighting sets the mood, showcasing all its features. The bedrooms are kept cosy and warm, allowing you to snuggle up and enjoy your favourite programs on a large HD Smart TV with Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Music Unlimited.

 

Each room includes hanging space, a hairdryer, and a full-length mirror. Complimentary Duck Island Spa toiletries are provided in each bathroom.

 

Characterful Kitchen:

A beautiful kitchen is located on the 3rd floor, just below the Sky Lounge. Don’t forget to pause and admire the views through the stairs window, which overlooks open fields.

 

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and Nespresso coffee maker.

 

Complimentary coffee pods are provided, along with milk in the fridge.

 

Top tip: don't forget to bring some chocolate to enjoy a delicious mug of hot chocolate. A Duravit frother is provided and is perfect for cappuccinos, too.

 

For your convenience, you will also find essential items such as herbs and spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sugar, tea, clingfilm, foil, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, soap, bin liners, washing-up liquid, and dishwasher tablets.

 

Ocado (M&S), Sainsbury’s, and Tesco deliver directly to The Windmill at Blackthorn Hill. It’s a wonderful space to enjoy your meals before heading to the Sky Lounge to unwind with a bottle of wine and watch the sunset.

 

Sky Lounge:

The real highlight of The Windmill is the breathtaking sky lounge. It features comfortable sofas positioned in front of a large smart TV and offers magnificent 360-degree views of the rural countryside. We recommend waking up early, brewing a fresh cup of coffee, and trying to spot grazing deer. You might even catch a glimpse of red kites soaring over the landscape, not to mention the awe-inspiring sunsets and sunrises. Don't forget your camera!

 

Chill Out Area:

A private lawn area on the roof terrace is perfect for enjoying summer days, complete with a table, cushioned seats, and a parasol umbrella to provide shade. Relax and enjoy a couple of glasses of wine while watching the amazing sunsets.

Secure gated parking is available for two cars, one with an EV charger.
